View FAQsPermissions & Setup
DualView Camera Pro requires certain permissions to function correctly:
- Camera: Required to capture video. Without this, the app cannot function.
- Microphone: Required to record audio alongside your video.
- Photos: Required to save your exported vertical and landscape videos directly to your camera roll.
If you accidentally denied a permission, you can enable it by going to your iPhone's Settings > DualView Pro and toggling the switches on.
Saving & Exporting
When you finish recording in Dual Camera mode, the app automatically processes the master file into two separate videos: one vertical (9:16) and one landscape (16:9).
Troubleshooting exports:
- Ensure you have enough free storage space on your device. 4K video files can be large.
- Make sure you have granted the app permission to access your Photos.
- If an export fails, try lowering the recording resolution or framerate in the app settings.
Troubleshooting FAQ
The app is crashing when I try to record in 4K 60fps.
4K 60fps recording is highly demanding on the device's processor and memory. If you experience crashes, please ensure you are using an iPhone 13 Pro or newer. On older devices, we recommend using 1080p or 4K at 30fps for optimal stability.
My videos have no sound.
Please check that you have granted Microphone access to the app in iOS Settings > DualView Pro. Also, ensure your iPhone is not connected to a Bluetooth device that might be capturing audio instead of the built-in microphone.
The live preview looks slightly laggy.
Processing two video streams simultaneously requires significant processing power. The final exported videos will be smooth, even if the live preview drops a few frames during recording.
